EXIN announces Secure Programming Foundation certification
Together with the Information Security Academy, EXIN announces a new certification: Secure Programming Foundation. This certification is in line with the Secure Software Framework which has recently been released by the Secure Software Foundation.
The framework and certification are essential initiatives for combatting cybercrime. It is of vital importance that software is developed securely to prevent errors in an early stage. Securely developed software prevents suffering from a loss of revenue and reputation due to a breach caused by insecure software in the end product.
Release of the examThis exam will be released on September 1, 2014. It will be available in English and consists of 40 multiple choice questions. EXIN will offer a Preparation Guide, Workbook and Sample Exam for preparation purposes. The Secure Programming Foundation certification is aimed at software designers and developers. The Information Security Academy has exclusive distribution rights for The Netherlands till June 2015. EXIN is looking for interested training providers situated in countries outside of The Netherlands per September 2014.
